Free Packaged HVAC System Giveaway in Madison County: 5 Reasons to Nominate a Neighbor in Need
Winter in North Alabama is notorious for sudden, biting cold snaps. While many of us prepare by decorating for the holidays, there are families right here in Huntsville and across Madison County facing winter with a broken, failing heating unit.
For over 50 years, Garrison & Garrison Heating and Air has kept local homes comfortable and safe. We believe that no one in our community should have to shiver through the night or risk using unsafe space heaters just to get by.
That’s why we’re back with our 4th Annual Garrison & Garrison Gives Back Campaign—donating a brand-new packaged HVAC system with free installation and a year of maintenance to a local homeowner in need.
If you haven’t submitted a nomination yet, here is why you should take two minutes to do it today:
Restore Safety and Warmth to a Struggling Home
An aging, broken furnace or heat pump doesn’t just make a home uncomfortable—it can cause pipes to freeze, drive electric bills through the roof, and create real health risks for seniors and young children. Your nomination can provide a family with reliable, worry-free heat for years to come.
You Could Win a $200 Visa Gift Card
We know that times are tight for everyone around the holidays. As our way of saying thank you for helping us find a deserving family, every person who submits a nomination is automatically entered to win a $200 Visa Gift Card! You get to do good for someone else and potentially receive a holiday bonus for yourself.
Break the Stigma (Yes, You Can Nominate Yourself!)
Hardship doesn’t discriminate. Whether it’s unexpected medical bills, job transitions, or simply bad timing, replacing a 7,000–10,000 HVAC unit is out of reach for many hardworking households. If your own system is failing, please nominate yourself. We evaluate every story with care, privacy, and compassion.
Celebrate 50+ Years of Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Every year, our team is deeply moved by the submissions we receive. These stories highlight the everyday heroes, quiet givers, and resilient families of Madison County. It reinforces why we’ve dedicated more than five decades to serving this area.
It Takes Less Than Two Minutes
The nomination process is quick and completely online. Tell us who they are, why they need help, and include a quick photo of the data tag on their current package unit.
